How I Birth Impossible Dreams
As I’m having quiet time this morning this cuddle bug decides to crash my lap.
As I’m enjoying her company I figured I’d share with you the unusual way she entered our home.
How I Got This Cutie for Free
It all started when I visited my friend shortly after their family brought home a new puppy.
From that point on I knew I wanted one of my own.
It was a desire birthed in an instant, but not one I took action on.
Months went by. I visited my friend every now and then. Each time cuddling and admiring her puppy... but I still took no action to get one for myself.
Months continues to pass. My desire grew. I decided I’d start looking.
I identified the breed(s) I was interested in, the personality traits I was after and began my search.
When my family buys a dog, we take our sweeeeet time making sure we get the right one.
The search process dragged over the course of months. There were many inquiry calls. Multiple visits but never found the ‘fit’.
If you’re not aware, these cute little cuddle friends tend to cost a couple bucks. So that too was something I’d go back and forth on.
Do I REALLY want to pay this to get the breed of my choice? After all, we’ve been considering a shelter dog for a fraction of the cost.
Furthermore...
After training a puppy once before, I remember promising myself that I’ll NEVER do that again. I couldn’t fathom doing the whole potty training thing.
But as I looked, and looked, and looked and continued to contemplated.... the thought crossed my mind.
The Thought that Made ALL The Difference
✅ Why not believe that God will bring me THE PERFECT little dog that my heart desires.
On one hand, this seemed CRAZY. Where do I find a tiny, no-shed breed (not white) who is sweet, friendly, docile, in good health AND fully trained?
Yea... likely not happening.
😊 But on the other hand, this wasn’t the first impossibility I believed for. I’ve built my life on miracles and impossibilities so why not add this to the stories?
And so my faith journey begun...
✅ I placed my puppy-search in the hands of God. Trusted that he knew what I wanted and that he would deliver.
I told no one except my kids and husband.
Within a few weeks, I got a call from my friend... the one with the puppy.
She just had a baby and now had 3 kids under the age of 3.
Although Missy was a beautiful, well behaved, fur-buddy, she was in no position to also care for a dog.
She asked me if I wanted her.
That’s when she joined our pack. She was 1 at the time. That was 2 years ago.
The Process
As great as this story is, there are valuable lessons to learn from it.
✅ The process I went through to birth this miracle was methodical, specific, tried-tested-and proven.
This wasn’t a little “let’s hope for the best” scenario.
✅ I applied specific laws to this situation that have worked countless times in my life, which is the reason I received predictable results.
These things are so POWERFUL, so LIFE CHANGING, and so REMARKABLE. I wish I could instantly download them into your mind.
If I could... you would never be the same.

👉 BUT ALSO... we’ve applied these laws to increase financially and materially. (As in the example with my little fur-friend)
