If you can read but choose NOT to, you aren’t much different than someone who is illiterate.

One of the best things you can do for your life will be reading books on how to improve your future, your relationships or personal self.

👉 It’s like food for your mind. 👈

If you only binge on “junk” you will become emotionally and relationally sick. Negative or uncontrollable emotions is a sure sign you are mentally starved and need to feed your mind a good healthy dose of positive information.

Just as your food becomes the building blocks for your physical body, what you feed your mind builds your thoughts, beliefs, perspective, emotions and feelings.

Be intentional about what you are feeding your mind, take time to seek out messages of hope and true... prioritize this in your life. As a result, you‘ll find yourself increasing in happiness, stability, inner-strength and motivation.

Take Action: Start Small... Instead of bringing your phone to the bathroom put a few books in there and grab one instead.

Here's the bathroom bookshelf in our camper.

(Yes, I'm camping as I write this)

BTW: Most of my books come from thrift shops. Now that’s educating yourself on a dime.
