Are you ignorant?

In our home, we have a bathroom on the opposite side of the house as, our hot water heater. Because of this, when we turn on the hot water, cold comes out. In fact, cold comes out for a few seconds. Which doesn’t sound long, but when you're waiting, those seconds feel like minutes.

I remember the day I told Peter we didn’t have hot water in our bathroom. Problem was, I didn’t understand why it took so long to warm up. Or more accurately said... why it took so long for hot water to arrive.

That' when I was struck by a realization... life is often like this.

When You Don't Know, You're Ignorant 

When you don’t understand the process of something, you’ll be impatient, give up or get frustrated, when really, what you are wanting may be on its way.

Of course, that’s if your applying proven principles that being results.

So the moral of the story is...

If you're applying effort towards the things you want, but it feels like it’s not coming, hang in there, it’s coming. Don’t allow ignorance to abort your dream. Understand the process of time and be patient. Your dream is on its way.

This picture is my daughter… I’m so thankful for her and for the family I have today. I remember the days when all I wanted was to have a happy, healthy home and a loving family. I applied effort, got a hold of proven principles, and although it took time, the dream came to pass. 

Hang onto your dreams. Don’t let them go. They are on their way.
