Are You Annoyed? Good. Use it to Grow
Are you annoyed? Good!
When everything is easy and going your way... it takes no effort to be happy and positive. No strength necessary.
✅ Strength is shown when you’re under pressure, and when things are hard. This is when you reveal what you’re really made of.
If someone crosses you, hurts your feelings, is offensive, or if you simply don’t get your way...
Do ‘cat claws’ come out?
✅ Claws reveal weakness. It shows those around you, YOU ARE NOT in control. It reveals that inside, there’s pain, sensitivity or immaturity.
👉 It takes strength to hold your own.
👉 Strength to overlook an offence.
👉 Strength to keep your cool.
Only mature, and emotionally healthy individuals are capable of doing so.
But I’ve got GOOD NEWS...
Use This to Grow
👉 When you get annoyed, see it as an opportunity for growth.
👉 When you don’t get your way, put your big-girl (or boy) undies on and take the high road.
As you PRACTICE the right attitude and behaviour... you grow.
In time...
👉 What use to be difficult, becomes easy.
👉 What use to annoy you, won’t.
👉 What use to hurt your feelings, will be a non-issue.
✅ Immaturity cannot accept differences, it struggles to overlook an offence and always has to have the last word.
Don’t reveal immaturity, show strength.
Practice being level headed, calm and intentional. Your life and your relationships are waiting to thank you.
Guess what… Growth is all about managing conflict. First inner-conflict with yourself, then external conflict, with others.
