What is Collide Academy?

Collide Academy is an education centre where homeschooled-highschoolers go to learn how to build healthy emotions and relationships while developing confidence, composure and tact.

If success is dependent on how emotionally intelligent we are, then it’s imperative that we equip our children with the tools to thrive in this area.

Traditional education focuses on teaching children how to make a living, inner-strength training teach them how to build a life.

How Collide Academy Works

We run 3 semesters from October - June with a group outing placed in between.

We hold 3 classes each day, 2 times a week, between 1:00 - 4:00.

Each semester consist of 3 different courses.

September: Outing #1 + Kick Off Party …. Canoe//Kayaking excursion through Caddy Lake Tunnels.

October - November: Semester One: 8 classes

December: Outing #2 + Christmas Party

January - February: Semester Two: 8 classes

March: Outing #3 …. Mystery Dinner Party

April - May: Semester Three 8 classes

June: Outing #4 …. Whiteshell Hike and Bonfire

 FAQs

  • Collide Academy was designed for teens in grades 9-12. However, eager and ambitious teens in grades 7 and 8 may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

  • We create groups of 6-12 students, depending on the accommodations of each host.

  • Collide Academy is a homeschooling supplementary designed to enhance a homeschoolers educational endevour. Therefore, there are no grades, just completion certificates.

  • Collide Academy is a place of study that focuses on character and leadership development as students simultaneously work on their preferred educational curriculum.

    Since school is defined as any institution at which instruction is given, technically, Collide Academy is a school.

  • Parents may stay depending on avaiable space.

  • $480 per semester or $1440 for the year.
